These headphones seemed like the perfect fit - until after just a few short weeks of daily use in my office the right channel started (regardless if there is music playing or not) - making a very high pitched "tap tap tap tap" sound - almost like a mechanical clock ticking - but much faster and higher pitched. it does this ALL THE TIME. As a bonus, every minute or so (but not exactly a minute - so it's always a fun surprise!)- there's a burst of even higher pitched noise that lasts for about 10 seconds. If I was a dog, it would be the kind of sound that would make me try and cover my ears with my paws. Hmmm. Wish I was a dog, I could be out chasing squirrels instead of writing this review and being bummed out that I wasted $35 bucks on a set of headphones.
