You need to use a lot to show the colors evenly. I have dark colors but I realized that I had to mix in white to make the color look bright and beautiful. If you see a pure white candle that looks like a toy blue in the first photo, behind the pink and white candle on the left. The color of this candle was actually dark blue before drying. My sister actually mixed a lot of colors to get a tie-dye effect, but when I told her she didn't get it right, she just mixed the colors. It turned out super dark, but when it dries super light there is almost no color. So I would only recommend this if you buy extra white pigment and mix it with that - then the colors will come out the way you want them to. This is how we got the colors in the first photo, which came out pretty nice.
