Review on 🌈 Aunt Martha's Vintage Dish Towels Set - Pack of 3, 18x28 Inches, Multi Striped, MultiStripe Design by Crystal Kong

I bought these more as a decorative item for a new kitchen color scheme (don't want to bore you with the details) Previous reviews said they dry hands well but didn't for drying pots and pans or other heavy-duty applications. The reviews also stated that they became more absorbent after washing. After washing with towels and then tumble drying for some time, these towels became a crumpled and twisted mess and didn't lay flat enough to be folded. I put them back in the dryer with damp clothes and did an air blast cycle and they were wrinkled but could be ironed out. They would look dirty hanging from the front of the oven. I have other towels, both terry and cotton, and they don't require much maintenance to be useful and attractive. Should I wash them again and dry them on a low heat or line dry? I refuse to iron kitchen towels.
