So my son and daughter love this set but there is one detail that drives me crazy. Okay, maybe two parts. The set comes with puzzle pieces at the ends so you can expand it by purchasing additional tracks. However, my son is two years old and does not get this "extra" part. He proceeds to remove the base holding the middle section of the ramp to lengthen the ramp. The ramp then collapses and is, in his words, "broken". So I have to return the base (which looks exactly like the track piece but with holes for the ramp piece) and snap the ramp back into place at the end. two "broken" points. He will do it again and again. This toy gets FIVE stars if: - The base was either a finished piece with no "puzzle" ends, indicating it was finished, or was large enough on its own to not need it. for placing on the base of the caterpillar. The bottom of the ramp didn't have any puzzle-like ends, again meaning it was unfinished. The ramp was either fixed or could be blocked in some way to keep it in one piece. I can't count the number of times the ramp has "broken" and I had to fix it. Sometimes five times in a row. Trying to cook dinner will drive you crazy! Finally I broke down and taped the ramp into one solid piece with clear tape. It helped, but my son still has regular "breaks".
