While some may say they lack bass, warmth and tonal harshness, I think these are probably some of the most accurate headphones out there. Not meant to be your everyday rap headphones that don't sound great, they're designed for exceptionally accurate sound reproduction (they have a flat frequency response, no heavy bass, no mids like Apple's headphones). Personally I've had them for some time now (about a year), I've found them to get a little warm with daily use. The reason I chose them over any other pair is because they are designed as monitors and I am very picky about how I want my music to play. They kicked ass from day one and continue to do so to this day. If you are an avid music lover and would like to hear an accurate rendition of your music, then this is for you.
