This is one of the best cleaners I have ever used to clean vinyl. I use this with my VPI record cleaner on every album I buy. Even new records have some dirt in the grooves. Sometimes I even saw fingerprints on new vinyl. If you clean your vinyl properly from the start, you should be able to keep it in tip-top shape for some time after the initial cleaning. I also recommend keeping the original liner and investing in a Mobile Fidelity liner. Unfortunately, used vinyl sometimes still cracks and makes noise, even after thorough cleaning. If the previous owner applied too much force to the needle or the groove was damaged, the click may never go away. A stylus gauge, preferably high-end (less than $100), is just as important as cleaning the vinyl.
