Review on Wireless TECKNET Ergonomic Receiver Chromebook by Lokesh Das

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price - Ease of use - Good features

Over the years I have purchased several TechNet products, not on purpose but because I am a discount store and am always looking for a good deal. Two wireless TechNet mice (mice?), a power adapter, and a USB-to-Lightning cable have served me well. When I saw this mouse for less than $9 I ordered it. And while I'm happy. Here's what I like so far. • This is a full-size mouse that feels good in my hand. (Men's hand is medium sized, see picture) • All buttons and scroll wheel are conveniently located and easy to find without looking. • Pointer movement is smooth, as is the scroll wheel. • Features 5 levels of sensitivity that can be changed without software using the onboard DPI button. • This is a 2.4G wireless model, not Bluetooth. (I haven't found a Bluetooth mouse that I'm happy with yet.) • It has a nano USB receiver that fits in the battery compartment for easy storage when traveling. • Use two AA batteries, which should last a long time. • Has a dedicated switch for long periods of inactivity. • Has two power saving (sleep) modes that turn on when not in use to conserve battery power. (Press any key to wake up.) • Has a low battery indicator. • Comes with an 18 month warranty. I also like that the seller emailed me with contact details immediately after purchase if I had any problems. It's a nice touch, I'm not sure why all sellers don't do this. The only downside is that the glossy black model I bought tends to show fingerprints and handprints. This isn't a problem for me as I like to keep my mouse and keyboard clean and the occasional fingerprint just reminds me to keep them clean. I've also included a picture of a TeckNet mouse next to the Logitech M505 for comparison. . (See image.) This was too long a wireless mouse review, so I'll stop. As with all my reviews, I will update this review if I come across any issues or concerns.
