This is NOT an Apple charger. This is a completely different redesigned charger. You can argue that this is better than Apple's OEM charger design. My point of view is this; I have ordered many different aftermarket chargers after my original Apple charger failed (3 years of use) and all the others failed as well. My last one failed within almost a day of use. I fully expected this device to charge my Mac and then somehow charge it. and then not charge at all. no problems after a month. It feels like it will perform better than the OEM but I can't confirm this with timings or geo/thermal imagery. It works and for the price I'll probably buy another one just to have a backup charger in another room at home.
