Let me start by saying that this is a great set of plastic tools. We ordered them for a nice backyard brunch we threw to celebrate graduation. They have a great golden color and a beautiful sheen. They look real, apart from the fact that most of them had a small "tab" at the end of the handle that looked like the pieces had been ripped from the strip, making it obvious they weren't real . silver plate. We wrapped the fork, knife and spoon sets together in a thick paper napkin that looked like fabric, and then tied them together with a nice ribbon so the ends weren't showing. They were also very good, long lasting and perfect for the late meals we served. I can't attest to how well they would have fared with tougher foods like meat, but they worked well for our needs. Many people have commented on how beautiful they are and some even asked if we keep them for reuse. I would 100% order them again.
