You can't expect high performance from a turntable that costs less than $300, but is for novelty use or for those who want to play a record or two, maybe once a month for a special occasion that's more than enough. Pros: - Decent sound and volume - All functions work as intended - Nice design - Reliable FM tuner Cons: - Made from cheap chipboard and laminate - No counterweight on tonearm - Poor quality stylus and tonearm - Wear and tear from prematurely outputting recordings - Line Output has fuzzy distortion - Record sticks out the back of the unit - No way to adjust pitch - Wobbly platter and cheap plastic everywhere All in all, if this turntable was $49.99 I'd say I would shop all day! Save even for a basic Audio Technica at $100. It looks great in my 200 year old Victorian home and that's what prompted me to buy it, but I definitely feel the need to upgrade in just 2 short weeks.
