I use this product in the office for interviews, meetings and notes, for me it's better than a tape recorder because it gives you the ability to save recordings on a PC . It's easy to use, as is the software that comes with it. Consultation with management is only required for the specific options they have. The best use you can give this device is for call recording. The other user who wants stereo sound will have to look elsewhere. I got this product new in 2004 from my local retail store for $45. I would recommend buying the VN-960 PC as it has 4x the record time for only $60. The only cons. What I find in this product: Uses AAA batteries, sometimes rechargeable batteries don't work and file transfer to PC is too slow.
