I had to order a size larger.
The instructions say to order a normal size because they take into account the fact that they go over motorcycle pants. Ordered XL and it was too heavy to put on in my living room. Imagine how tough it will be on the side of the road when it starts to rain! I returned and reordered the XXL which worked fine although I had to replace the standard strap with a larger one. Now happy
