My dog sleeps in it every night. She loves it. From the very first night we put her there (added her a beautiful pillow and a snuggly soft dog with a heart) she fell asleep immediately. We've never had a dog that didn't initially cry for at least a few nights. But our dog loves his cage. My wife says it's very cozy and she feels safe here. Whatever it was, it was definitely a great purchase! During the day we leave the screen door open so she can come in and out as she pleases. but in reality she only comes in when it's time for bed. As soon as we go to bed, she goes by herself. During the day she has 5 other dog beds to choose from, as well as a lovely covered kennel, stool and regal Louis XIV style baby chair. So we actually think it's good that the box is only used for sleeping. Highly recommended!
