The smell is poisonous, best in party items

Wow, they smell very poisonous. I have asthma and my chest immediately cramped after inhaling heavily when they were delivered out of the box. The little one wore out in my arms. I'm not even going to try to let that "air" out. Whatever is causing this smell, I do NOT want my kids or their friends to touch or play with them. I bought them to put in gift bags for Valentine's Day, but today they're making a comeback. Terrible.
