Review on Circular saw Makita 5008MG, 1800 W blue/silver by Adam Nowak ᠌

I've never seen worse! Horrible purchase.

In general, if it cost like Interskol, I would understand and forgive everything, and so, except for the chrome lining, there is nothing to pay for. No reliability, no availability of repair - nothing. And this is the upper price category of the notorious Makita. I do not know what they have with more budget models. Has some pros: Pila was very upset. It is not entirely clear what the money was paid for. I’ll tell you right away about the advantages: the depth and angle of the cut are quite accurately adjusted, there is an adjustment of perpendicularity. The saw is quite powerful and there are shiny chrome trims. That's all with pluses. Cons: Disadvantages: The saw is heavy, uncomfortable to work with it all day. The saw is unreliable: in the middle of a damp pine board it smoked and then burned out - the entire electric motor was to be replaced. And laughter and sin, but the Chinese but name unit has been operating for 10 years and does not burn out, and in the worst case it is cut down. I only change brushes and discs. But let's say professional equipment from Maketa requires a more careful attitude. I expected that if this is a well-known brand, then there will be no problems with repairs. But I was very upset by the certified center of Makita Northern Arrows, in which there were no spare parts for their own tools, and for the second month I have been waiting for the original parts from China to arrive at the center, and in the meantime the work is worth it.
