Review on Neewer NW-700 Pro Studio Broadcasting Recording Condenser Microphone & NW-35 Adjustable Recording Microphone Suspension Scissor Arm Stand with Shock Mount and Mounting Clamp Kit by Scott Richardson

At just over $30 this mic is great; That being said, there are a few issues I have with it. Firstly the fastener part is very cheaply made so over time the threads on the screw and the rubber grommet to reduce scratches have worn it down causing me to have to buy a new bracket (mainly because of the screw). Second, depending on the quality of the built-in mics/mics in the headphones, this might not be a very noticeable improvement. I have two good gaming laptops and the improvement over the laptops' built-in mics is noticeable, but several gaming headsets I've tried sound almost (not quite, but almost) as good as the mic. Having said that, I don't regret the purchase and recommend it if you're just starting out with recording.
