I bought 3 of these to replace some other flush mount LED lights I recently bought for my closets. They worked differently, but flickered intermittently and randomly. My guess is that they were responding to line noise or simply because they were using AC directly instead of DC to drive the LEDs in the fixture. I saw that they included an AC->DC driver so I decided to try them and they are much better in terms of light stability - no flicker. I think they are designed to be ceiling mounted even without a mounting box so the driver module and wire nuts fit right inside the house, but I put them in the existing round mounting boxes. I'd love for them to be even thinner than the ones I replaced, but they're still less than 1 inch thick so still have a nice profile against the cabinet ceiling. The only downside, as other reviewers have pointed out, is that the attachment wires are very light. Caliber and needed some extra trimming to expose more ends to connect to house wiring with nuts. I didn't like the look of the included wire connectors (I didn't find them secure enough) so I used wire nuts. Stripping thin wires can be tricky and it's easy to break some of the strands inside, so you must be careful to keep the full thickness of these thin wires when stripping. I had no installation issues in terms of actual installation. The light output of the size purchased (12W) is perfect for a closet and good white light. I wish they were in bigger packs in bulk with even more discount when I need to replace about 8 in my garage. However, they seem to be good lights for the money and I'm happy with them so far. Much better than those that don't use a driver and flicker annoyingly.
