South Florida is a great place to winter, but the water tends to be uncomfortable. Suitable for toilets and baths, but not for drinking. I did a lot of research on different technologies and sizes of appliances and finally decided that under the kitchen counter with a good faucet everything would be fine. I ordered this unit with some concerns about the installation. Wow! I am always happy. Even an ordinary wizard shouldn't have any trouble installing it. Read the instructions once or twice before committing to it. Follow the instructions and don't try to cut corners. Make sure you use enough teflon tape ONLY as directed. Tighten all fittings and check for leaks before starting. This system fits perfectly under the sink and is easy to reach when it's time to change the filters. Out of curiosity, I also bought an inexpensive TDS HM digital tester. I started the system, washed after watering and after a few hours - VOILA! My water tastes GREAT and the HM TDS showed extremely low solids. I am very, very happy with this system, especially since I no longer have to buy drinking water and carry it around.
