Does exactly what it should. So far very happy with it. I can connect multiple peripherals to my Surface Pro, including HDMI for another monitor or TV, which is great when it's not connected to the office. Surprised how light it is, but the build quality is excellent. I've been using a USB-C hub for about two weeks. So far it's working better than expected. I am currently connecting a 32" monitor via an HDMI port, a USB stick and an external USB hard drive. Unlike my other hub, the Chosure one easily powers both USB sticks. The hub only seems to heat up while the laptop battery is charging. Otherwise, it's just a warm note. Not sure if this depends on the laptop's USB-C port or the hub's USB-C port, but the connection to the laptop is secure. I tried unplugging it and it has resistance so there was no accidental disconnection.
