You saved me from so many disappointments! I wish I had thought of buying them beforehand. I have had several 18 x 18 Pottery Barn down pillows for a few years and even though I have Pottery Barn velvet cushions/covers on them, the down feathers still stick out. Not only did I feel uncomfortable being poked with the hard end of the feathers, I also found it very frustrating having to clean the white feathers off my dark sofa and floor several times a week. You might think we're having a pillow fight with these throw pillows instead of just using them as back support. I've been wearing these pillowcases for weeks now and haven't seen a single feather! The real problem is that Pottery Barn needs to improve their quality, but I'm so glad these protective pillowcases exist! I would highly recommend them to anyone struggling with the same down pillow dilemma!
