The phone compartment is a little tight for an iPhone 8, but you can still slip it in if you're willing to press the bottom of the compartment and slowly pull your phone out. (Measurements on a product can give the impression that it should have a lot of wiggle room, but that's because measurements should be taken from the outside, not the inside where the outside takes its place.) The Christmas pattern isn't as big and flashy , so it can be used all year round. I love color combinations that go with everything.
