I have almost every stone Lansky makes for the sharpening system, including diamonds. I had issues with the diamond coming off because of the crappy glue, but you can just glue them back on. This stone is amazing. This is the one I use between my fine diamond and the ultra thin ceramic. This stone removes the large scratches that small stones leave and gives you a good edge to start the final buffing. I have been looking for a stone between fine and ultra fine and this is the one you need. Most definitely live up to the hype.
