My rabbit took to it immediately. Since rabbits poop when they eat, I put them next to their food tray. She got straight to the point! I was concerned that this item would be too small for my corduroy pants which are a larger breed. You are doing great! Twice a day I put some absorbent cloths under the grate, roll them up and just stow them away. I like the latch grid which opens very easily with a pull tab and prevents the bunny from opening. The rust keeps it clean and dry. I didn't work with my rabbit to train it; She just immediately climbed into the tray. The high back angle keeps her pee inside instead of squirting out like before this purchase. It doesn't smell like urine at all! The rabbit is now 4 months old and doesn't pee or poo much outside of the litter box. Highly recommended!
