I have had several digital cameras over the years but this was my first Nikon purchase. I bought from Target on Black Friday and definitely regret the time I wasted waiting in line to get such a bad camera. I liked the size, color and price, as well as the presence of a rechargeable battery. This purchase was a gift for my 11 year old daughter. I made sure I got the case right away. Well, the damn LCD inside the case broke and the camera became unusable. First, you'll notice that unlike most digital cameras, the LCD is exposed and not covered with a hard plastic cover. Then you do some research and realize that you might be able to replace the screen yourself for around $20, but WAIT, there's nothing for this model. Oh, and I forgot to point out that this camera was listed as a gray market camera upon registration, which means Nikon isn't honoring the warranty on it. I find that highly unacceptable. I blame both Target and Nikon for this mistake!
