The problem is that when you try to fit them onto the existing rubber thumb grip on gamepad joysticks, they tend to not fit properly and pop out. If you first remove the old rubber from the joysticks and then put them on they work great, but when used aggressively in action games they slip and eventually slip off. Rubber from the joysticks, place the gamepad on a stable surface, put a drop of glue in the center of the joystick head, attach the new thumb grips and leave them alone until the glue hardens. I highly recommend using a glue with some elasticity as when using joysticks, crystalline glues like super glue will break down after constant lateral shifting and you will keep sticking them, likely damaging them. .Once firmly attached, these pads work and feel great, but it takes a lot of effort.
