Amazing, amazing, amazing!

In general I am very satisfied with this device. It's as important as my phone these days. After using Kindle Fire HD 8.9 for 4 years with its poor performance and lack of good apps, I decided it was time for an upgrade. There are several iPads in my family, but as a power user, I've never liked the lack of flexibility in the operating system, apps, or expandable storage. A family member suggested Samsung's line of tablets. What immediately hooked me was how incredibly light it is. If you've ever held (not placed on your lap) a reading tablet, you know that it can be tiring after as little as 10 minutes. This tablet raises the bar at 0.58 pounds. In addition, it is thin and feels very comfortable in the hand. The second thing that struck me is the performance, which is way better than any other tablet I've used, including the iPad. Video playback is smooth and beautiful. I tested HD video loaded onto an SD card and had no problems with it. Other great features include the ability to expand storage with an SD card and the easy-to-use Android operating system. Particularities. The arrangement of the keys is intuitive and comfortable. No random button presses or no response. My only concern is the speaker output - it's too quiet/too quiet. Sometimes I really want to turn on some music while I'm in the shower, but it just isn't loud enough. I am impressed and am now a big fan of this device.
