Sturdy, simple, open design. Assembly is easy - I lubricated each screw with a bar of soap to prevent the "I" from splitting. I wasn't sure if bar soap is still recommended, but WoodWorker's Journal is fine. If you have arthritis in your hands or other mobility issues, the allen wrench/hex wrench may be difficult for you, although it doesn't require much hand strength. It's easy to assemble, looks great, works great and is great value!
