Review on 🔪 Silver Westmark Black Swivel Peeler, Gentle & Compact Design - One Size by Jessica Ortega

I decided to try this peeler as I expected it to be at least decent. It's not like this. First, it arrived with an extremely rough blade edge. The sharpening left a very thin burr that could peel off the foods I was cleaning. I know how to properly sharpen a blade, so I took it apart and sharpened it to remove the burr. When I took care of it, I tried. This worked fairly well, but I found the blade alignment felt awkward and obscured what I was doing. This is of course a personal preference, so you might quite like it. Then I noticed that the metal surrounding the blade (not the blade itself) looked pretty badly chromed. I take care of my kitchen tools, but I don't take care of them like a good knife. So I just hand washed it thoroughly and put it in the dishwasher to dry. In just a few hours it rusted in at least 3 different places. I hate waste but I'm tired of wasting my time on this so it went in the trash. Conclusion: when I received it it looked like junk so I had to return it but I decided to give it a try. It's up to me, but I don't recommend it.
