The plastic is really strong and I'm not worried about it breaking if dropped. I had to use a stylus to properly align the grip ring on the lid (it seems to have shifted when moving) and then it works perfectly. Plastic is nice and transparent for visibility. I'm using this for a craft project and filling it with paper stars. In the end it will have a ribbon and "wish" will be written on the side.
