I have bought a remote charge regulator for my solar generator which I have been upgrading. I used to have a cheap 30 amp charge controller that never kept my marine batteries charged. The first day I plugged it in, my batteries were 100% charged on a cloudy day. It stores information for 180 days. Connecting was very easy. The instructions aren't the best, but after playing around with it I figured out all the features. I bought an 80 amp charge controller. I plan to buy another 80 amp charge controller when I get more panels and batteries. If you currently have one of those cheap charge controllers, ditch it now and go green. I guarantee you'll want to regret it. I am planning to make a youtube video about the outback to show anyone interested how great it is.
