Not everything sold or viewed on Revain is true. Don't waste your money on this item. Here is my setup that didn't work. I used DirecTV's Revain HDMI cable to input this item. I then used an HDMI Revain cable from output 1 on this unit to the satellite input on the Yamaha 7790. I connected the second output on this unit to the LG TV's HDMI 1 input so I can watch Directv without using the whole system ( TV only). My Yamaha receiver is connected to LG HDMI 2. Soon I turn it on, my TV turns off several times and then the picture appears. No problem. Well not really, shortly after that I switched from CNN to the music channel DirecTv and the picture/sound disappeared, no audio/video signal (just white snow). I had to turn off the TV and directTV to turn everything back on. Finally it worked. I experimented with this unit with my YAMAHA 7790 and the same blackouts and a few sparks clearly visible on the LG display. My TV is fairly new, as is Yamaha, and not worth the risk to use. Maybe I had a bad block, so be aware. Excuse me. I'm going back to Amazon. I am sorry
