High quality leather
Every ratchet strap I've purchased has been made from the cheapest and least durable "leather" part possible. This replacement part is MUCH heavier and clearly built to last. Because they can be cut to any length desired, upgrading an El Cheapo strap is a trivial task. HUGE difference in the end product.
