Review on EnGenius ENS500-AC Outdoor 5 GHz Wireless With 11Ac Wave 2 Technology by David Mills

Wouldn't recommend. Ended up returning and going with another companies.I had been using the older versions of the EnGenius point to point bridge. They worked well enough to upgrade to the AC version when one of the older units died after about 3 years. Was able to get the newer versions setup quickly, but the units would select a new channel upon every restart. Upgraded to latest firmware, etc. one unit would select a new channel and lose the link consonantly (but would report it was still using the selected channel in the interface, but status would show the different channel) - Yes, i know they can automatically select the "best" channel, but i did not have that enabled. Wrote a detailed support request with screenshots showing the buggy feature and waited for tech support reply. After reaching out three more times over two weeks, support finally "responded" with a copy paste setup instructions from their FAQ - ignoring everything written.Returned and went with other equipment, which has been working flawlessly - and with a MUCH better user interface.Never again.
