Bought two Arctis 7 headsets (one for me, one for my kid). I bought both in January (10th and 19th). One was new (a late Christmas present), the other was refurbished. I sent the first one back because the charging port stopped working. If you can't charge it, you can't use it. They didn't send me a replacement, they just refunded my money. I believe it has been renovated. It was March 9th. The COVID lockdown has only just started so I decided to save money instead of buying another headset. Second, I'm just starting the return process. He too may have stopped working in March, but I don't know because my kid didn't tell me. I only recently noticed that it uses my webcam (but not the camera part). I asked him what he was doing and he said his microphone stopped working years ago. I tried to troubleshoot (Win10 update issue, reinstall, update drivers, etc.) but nothing worked. So I can only assume another hardware problem. I'm seriously disappointed that they lasted less than three months. Both were purchased 9 days apart from different sellers so I don't think it can just be a bad batch sent to the retailer/seller. Many people recommend Steelseries products because they have to be of excellent quality. For $100 I expect it to last more than three months. In comparison, my Sade 902s that I bought in 2017 for $25 still work. I only bought the Steelseries because I wanted to go wireless.
