Great toy for kids to learn while having fun!

I got this as a birthday present for my 2 year old daughter and although she had trouble getting the plastic pieces into the foam molds she loves it. My 5 year old has a great time with it and can easily put the pieces together. The cube is very well packed in a thick plastic bag with backpack straps. (My 2 year old loves wearing it as a backpack!) The foam pieces have a slight odor but it dissipates very quickly. To create a sorting cube from pieces of foam, you need to cut out figures, but they come out without much effort. The styrofoam puzzle pieces are made of soft but thick and durable styrofoam. It is not easy to break, but it can be "scratched" by plastic parts. (See picture blue side above) The pegs are made of hard plastic which is not easy to break but may hurt if you step on it! (From experience. Think Lego!) The mold cutouts and pin holes are very tight on the molds, which can make them difficult for small hands to use. You have to line up the pins and use a lot of pressure to get the figures through the holes. All in all a great toy that my kids love to play with. We won't tell them to learn how to do it!
