My first air filter that came with the fridge lasted an incredible 7 years so this is a real bargain. There is no reason to buy a copycat product, since the factory product will fit and will be accepted by the refrigerator. Some notes you should know: 1. It is easy to install; Just open the sunroof, replace the old one, close the sunroof, then reinstall the filter monitor on the panel until it turns green. it beeps twice. Repeat to disable the beep/beep that played when the old one crashed. (Resetting means holding down the reset button on the fridge panel.) A word to the wise: I set it up, it was fresh and the panel light came on green. THEN power outage. It squeaked again like it had burned out. I called the factory and they said to put it back in like it was new. If that doesn't work, unplug the fridge (unplugging alone won't do anything). Then set it again to stop the annoying beeps. Always remember that "beeping" can only mean a warm refrigerator, so give it an hour before reinstalling it.
