I've had this for a few months now and **I** always hand wash it right after use so it's never been a problem but my husband has thrown it in the dishwasher (it says this below dishwasher safe, there's a stamp with the symbol on it) and now the lid is oval instead of round and it leaks every time I shake it. Now I have to wrap it in a towel while shaking it, which is unacceptable. It's great as long as you don't put it in the dishwasher, so make sure hand washing isn't a problem for you.
