HP's printer setup ritual is not perfect. The Go page for account setup (a requirement before you can print) was not available. I googled the HP account and tried to set up the account but when I wasn't allowed to correct my email address I used their virtual assistant which ended up going in circles for an hour and the whole time refused to connect me to a real human. . I found the HP phone number but the guy sent me down a dead end and said I need to sign in before they speak to me. After three hours trying to get my new printer up and running I had no choice, so I boxed it up and sent it back. I never liked HP spying on how I was using my old printers. Who knows what else they'll stick their noses into. Make changes to Canon.
