My fault for not paying much attention to the dimensions, but the trays are smaller than expected. I was expecting more of the traditional rectangular length, but these are square and short. However, they appear to be quite well constructed and look solid. I use them for ice cream and nothing else. Smaller cubes can be easily detached from the shell. However, large cubes are difficult to get out and require hand strength and some patience. As a 60-year-old woman, I don't have either. The big cubes are really good, although once you pull them out they stay in the drink for quite a while. Hopefully I'll develop my technique and be able to draw it with less effort and a little more practice. It helps to rinse the tray with some warm water beforehand and focus on pushing them out of the bottom one at a time.
