Review on 🧴 Olivina Men 3-in-1 Wash - Hair, Face, and Body Cleanser in Cedar Bourbon - 16 Fluid Ounces by Maria Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

4.5 stars. Great shower gel, doesn't smell too strong.

First of all I want to clarify that this is just a review of the product as a body wash. Of course it can be used as a shampoo but I didn't use it as such. I bought a second bottle of this stuff after trying it once, then switched to another brand and then back to this one. Here's the thing, it's a great body wash. You can't find a better list of all natural ingredients, with ALOE being the first and not a single scary ingredient like SODIUM SULFIDE found in almost every other personal care product. In fact, the only listed ingredient I had to look up was DECYL GLUCOSIDE, which turned out to be "vegetable-based, biodegradable and gentle on all hair types." (Wikipedia, Decyl Gucoside, September 23, 2019) So what's up? Why not 5 stars? Because of the smell. It reminds me of the homeopathic section of a health food store and brings back memories of my mother putting bitters under my tongue when I was sick instead of giving me real medicine. But that's a story for my therapist, not for dear Revain clients. However, the benefits for my skin are undeniable. No more dry, itchy winter skin. Plus, it rinses off easily, unlike other super moisturizing cleansers that feel greasy but never do anything. And I'm sure it smells that way because they're trying to make a natural product without a lot of chemicals that smells nice. but likely to cause cancer. So, for now, I will continue to suppress bitter childhood memories for my smooth, hydrated skin. (Is that a cry for help? Probably.) So, in summary, this is the best body wash for your skin you'll find (or at least I've found). You may or may not like the smell (I mean, it doesn't smell like dog poo or anything). So try it. Your skin will appreciate it.
