I replaced my entire self cleaning water filtration system with this 3 filter system and wow what a difference. I have a well and there is a lot of sediment and iron in it. Before this system I installed a 50 micron filter and after that a water softener. Before installing this system, I had iron stains on my tiled shower floor for several days after cleaning. After installation, after 3 months, I have no sign of iron! My water also tastes better and smells better. Because I have so much sediment I had to change the first filter about every 4 weeks but I think it's a lot cheaper than replacing fixtures/fixtures sooner than I would otherwise. Will definitely be installed in my next home.
