UPDATE 2020-1020 So - the fit is still great. The pockets are still big. BUT - tread wear was seriously lacking. Within 4 full months of purchase, daily use on paths and sidewalks - we are in the attached photo. I slide over wet concrete and cobbled sidewalks and cause a real mess on a hyperextended knee that fell out in a snowboard slip a few years ago. Now they go in the bin and I change my assessment. Overall fit and wear was good while it lasted. But be prepared, if you spend as much time outdoors as I do, or run about 4-5 miles a day, invest in a new pair in a few months. >> Fits perfectly! Good arch support, and as a pronator I could probably use a wider base - but other than that detail, these shoes were great out of the box. I usually take a Saucony 6.5-7 but after reading the reviews here I settled on a 6. Fits perfectly with some space in front. But the biggest feature: These shoes have more pockets than my skirts! At first I didn't know what to do with those extra straps (in snowboard boots I'd put them in the side, but that's a different sport). Only after taking a closer look did I discover not one, but two whole pockets on the tongue of these shoes! One just under the tongue which is perfect for tightening straps. The other one is more for the key, I suppose. And these pockets are on both shoes. Great grip on the trail and extra bounce on the road. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase so far!
