Review on Forney 72395 Reducing Adapters Grinding by Allen Hart

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not concentric, no different than a standard hub

I bought this to fix an extremely wobbly Norton wheel whose hubs had incredibly poor tolerances. You can see where there are gaps between the rings. It was a little better. The quality was also below average and I didn't want to spend $20 on metal. The fact that I chose it is solely due to the good reviews. There was an error. It was cheap enough but still a waste of money. I checked the mandrel on my coffee grinder. Its runout is only 0.001 inches, so the wobble is entirely due to the bushings. I gave it a 2 because it was better than the factory bushings. But still not very useful.
