Finally the right key! Runs the Valve Index at any refresh rate.

I have an Asus GX502GW laptop with an rtx2070 GPU and after getting my Valve Index headset I was struggling to find the right key to the DP out. The main problem is that it doesn't have Thunderbolt, while most dongles are designed to be used with a Thunderbolt port and although they claimed to support DP Alternate Mode, they didn't work. My laptop only has HDMI outputs and USB-C DP in alt mode (it seems the USB-C port is just a virtual port, but I'm not sure). I can confirm that this button starts the valve index via the DP output in alternate mode. no questions at all. No image artifacts, no limitations. Works well at any refresh rate (80/90/120/144Hz), looks good and is generally worth the money. It gets hot (I'd say around 110-120°F) and I've only been using it for a few days and some people say it eventually fails, but time will tell. Make sure there's a DP logo next to your USB-C output and that it's connected to the GPU if you're in the same situation. Either way, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended.
