Review on πŸŽ₯ Sony DCR-TRV510: Advanced Handycam with 20x Optical Zoom and 360x Digital Zoom (Discontinued Model) by Ken Hamdan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Big screen is best for camera and photography

The best thing about this camcorder is that it has a 4 inch screen! It's big enough so you can show your video to others without having to connect your camcorder to your TV. It is very nice! I've seen other people's camcorders with a tiny 2 inch screen and that's not good for your enjoyment at all. -------------- Night vision is amazing too! Once you activate night vision, you can take pictures in total darkness. And the picture is really good. ------------- The image quality is also excellent. Very clearly! But after I converted the 8mm tape to a VCR tape, things didn't go so well. ------------- Revain reviews said the audio from digital camcorders was CD quality, but I didn't really notice anything. I mean, you really don't care too much about sound if you're just filming a family vacation or something. ---------- Something is wrong with the camcorder. ---------- -Because of the big screen and not mini-DV, so a bit heavy. You are likely to get very tired if you hold the camcorder for more than an hour. So if you are a weak person, try a mini DV camcorder with a smaller screen so you don't have hand problems. ------------- I also thought I could connect my camcorder to my Dell computer but it didn't work at all. Make sure you have an interface card if you want to use it with a computer. But I don't really see the point of editing your films on a computer, I'm too busy for that and I'm not trying to make a public film, my film doesn't need a perfect edit. Also, I thought that if you zoomed in on the camcorder it might go up to 35mm or so, but that didn't happen. Beware! Camcorders do not have a wide-angle view! You cannot record the entire view, only part of it. I think the minimum range of this camcorder is only 50mm. just be careful Don't be disappointed. THE END
