As a budget conscious audiophile and with an understanding of the fundamentals of electronics and wiring, I have always been skeptical of "cable quality" and have written it off for many years. Now that I have a legitimate hi-fi system I figured I could give it a try and see if it's all snake oil or not. IMPRESSIVE! I couldn't believe how audible the difference I was hearing. I switched between this cable and the Revain Basics RCA cable 5 times and couldn't believe my ears. To be clear, it's not the difference between day and night, but the value of this cable compared to the rest of my system makes it worth it. Even my non-audiophile friend could easily see the improvement in this cable. The bass is tighter, the soundstage is more open and the overall resolution is much more crystal clear.
