I purchased a refurbished Surface Book Performance Base that came (unknowingly to me) with a replacement OEM charger for the original Surface Book, which didn't require nearly the same performance. I realized something was wrong when my computer decided to stop reading my PSU when the GPU was taxed. To solve this problem, I bought a suitable charger for it. Two problems: it was rare and cost $100. There were cheaper third-party adapters, but they typically had 1-3 star ratings warning that the product would likely (or definitely) damage your computer's battery/motherboard. Anyway, this product didn't have any of those negative reviews and was a lot cheaper than OEM parts, so I took a chance. It was a good jump; My Surface Book (Performance Base) now charges twice as fast and my GPU is free to run without prematurely aging my crappy non-removable battery. Good day, I recommend.
