The wheel arch is tight, tight on the 18 inch wheel and that's GOOD. Above the wheel, it really hugged the shape of the wheel so well that it didn't feel like a cover - it felt like the wheel itself. with my original steering wheel - pressing the hard plastic all day makes my hands cramp. But the coating on the steering wheel is quite soft with a uniquely textured non-slip surface that makes the wheel very comfortable to hold. appear straight and there are no wrinkles around the perimeter of the wheel. I am VERY happy with this purchase.
