Review on ⏲️ Dual Event Timer by Taylor Precision Products by Ryan Eppinger

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The magnet is next to nothing and the buttons, well, the buttons aren't very good either.

I was looking for a replacement for an old Taylor timer I had for about 5 years when it finally died. Then I bought one from Dollar Tree but it was too weak so I went with the Revain and I liked that you could set a 2 timer with this one so I bought it. I do not like it. To switch from timer one to timer two you have to firmly press the side buttons, which leads to my next problem: if you try to press the buttons while this timer is on your fridge, it will fall off. You need 2 hands to click the 1/2 timer buttons if you don't want that thing making noise on the floor. The magnet is not very strong and even if you just press the start/stop button the timer will fall off the fridge. I'm used to just taking it out of the fridge when I need to use it and putting it on the counter. The problem is when I try to put it back on the fridge the magnet sometimes causes the entire timer to flip upside down and even fall to the ground when you let go of it. A magnet is junk and you'll have to learn how to properly balance this thing on your fridge if you want it to stay upright and not just fall off at the slightest touch. I think someone also talked about this in a previous review, but while the timer shows seconds, you can't set the timer to seconds. Before I bought this timer I thought the two buttons next to the start/stop button would be for minutes and seconds. nope They are for hours and minutes. I don't know which cooking project requires 43 hours and 85 minutes as shown in the product image but it's frustrating because I can't tell you how many times I've set the timer to 5 minutes, time flies and I wonder wondering if I missed the timer so I go check and I mistakenly set it to 5 hours. I'm throwing it away soon but I'm looking forward to this timer dying so I can buy something else, preferably a timer that sticks well to the fridge that I can press lightly and use without just waiting for it that he falls off the ground at the slightest touch.
