This humidifier covers large areas perfectly. I have hard water where I live so this humidifier leaves a lot of white dust behind. So I tried distilled water and it worked fine, no white dust. However, the humidifier goes through the water like crazy. So using distilled water can cost you money. I was surprised how quiet the humidifier is and I don't even use sleep mode. Make sure you buy good quality aromatherapy oils as mine don't smell good and I put a lot on my humidifier. Pads And finally, if you lock the humidifier and then forget the password, remember to just unplug the humidifier and plug it back in. (Learned from personal experience.)
